The Thing I Did

I’m going to put this here, just in case you haven’t seen it in all the other places I’ve put it. This is social media blitz week, after all.

If that piques your interest and you want to see the rest, click the Patreon button below. Don’t worry, there’s no obligation or requirement to do anything by following the link.

Now, if you’re scratching your head and wondering what this Patreon thing is that I keep babbling about, it all starts with an understanding of patronage, that being…

…the support, encouragement, privilege, or financial aid that an organization or individual bestows to another. In the history of art, arts patronage refers to the support that kings, popes, and the wealthy have provided to artists such as musicians, painters, and sculptors.

I don’t personally know if any of my readers are kings, popes, or even very wealthy. If you are, that’s so cool you need to drop me a line and introduce yourself. 😉 The good news is, you don’t need to be any of those things to show your support. These days, arts patronage takes many forms. In fact, just a couple dollars a month will get you access to my private feed, behind the scenes looks at my creative endeavors, and even some say in which direction they go. There will be exclusive Patron-only content, glimpses at rough drafts and current WIPs, and many other surprises. You can become an active part of my creations, sitting ringside with my muses. Plus, of course, you’ll have my sincere and heartfelt gratitude.

So, consider stopping by if you like things like this…

”   Felicity read the carefully penned words flowing across the parchment a third time, just to be certain her eyes weren’t playing tricks on her. Or the words themselves weren’t. The messenger sighed and shifted his feet, but Felicity kept her focus on the delicate letters. They left no doubt as to the authenticity of the document, making the harp and wand wax seal stamped beneath Sir Percival Mestra’s tidy signature a bit superfluous.  “

Again, clicking the button below doesn’t obligate you to a thing, it simply takes you to my page where all your questions can hopefully be answered.

By the way, if you want to read the rest of that flash fiction piece, you can do so by becoming a Patron. It’s a special Thank You gift for your support.

Okay, I’m done now. Have a great rest of the week!
