A Cover Reveal for the Fantabulous Krista Walsh

Okay, I had to cut and paste this from the wonderful Krista Walsh’s blog because apparently wordpress.com and .org don’t talk to one another. Who knew. O_o In any case, you might want to add this series to your TBR pile. Cover Reveal & Big IE News You  know how every now and again, there’s a book cover that stops you in your tracks and you have to take a moment to appreciate all the subtleties …

NaNo 2016 ~ The Outcome

I realize I’m jumping the gun a bit, but November 30th is only a couple days off and I’ve got a few moments and a brain that feels like blogging. The short version. I did not win NaNo. I was at 23,508 on the 23rd and, as of this writing, I’m still at 23,508. I don’t think I’m being pessimistic by announcing there is no way I can pen 26,492 words in three days. Even breaking …

NaNo 2016 – The Halfway Mark

Today is the 15th and that marks the halfway point in this wonderful experiment known as NaNoWriMo. If we take a peek at my stats as of this morning you can see I haven’t hit 25k yet. And, to hit the intended target of 50k by November 30th, it appears I have to pen close to 2k a day. (I made the correction because the stats were as of this morning and, of course, I …

NaNo thus Far ~ Whose Idea Was This Anyhow?

Does anyone reading this not know I suffer from rewriteritiss? Well, I do. And for those who don’t know, rewriteritiss is a condition caused by an over-active internal editor with a thirst for perfection and no off switch. Point in case, I just reworked the last half of that sentence three times before moving on to this one. Rewriteritiss is why I tend to be a slow writer. It’s hard to crank out the words when each …

Sorry if I’m beating you all over the head with this, but a couple days of shameless self-promotion are sometimes required. There is a business end to this whole writing thing. It’s not just fun and games, ya know. ;P So, in case you missed it last week, the e-book version of First of Her Kind, the first book in my Darkness & Light trilogy is FREE on Amazon until Wednesday. All because it’s the …

First WIPpet in the New Digs

Yeah. So. Welcome. I hope you enjoy the new decor. I’ve got a bit of unpacking and tweaking to do, maybe some redecorating, but this is the place to come for all the latest and greatest. I didn’t get around to writing up a WIPpet last week, but I did manage to make it to everyone else’s. I also didn’t get a lot of writing done over the past week. There was editing going on. …

Whirling on WIPpet Wednesday

What a whirlwind this past week has been! My brain is just buzzing. I’ve made mega-strides on getting EoD one step closer to Beta reading status. Those of you who have read the first two, if you’re interested in filling a Beta spot, please let me know. I foresee having this beast ready for reading by the end of the month. On the BiS front, I’ve started up a street team which is something I’ve …
